After leaving school, Kate worked as a purchase ledger controller for a small engineering company. In 1989, she joined the Royal Navy where she worked in various roles in Scotland, including working as a Personal Assistant to a high ranking Officer and also two years working with the Royal Naval Reservists. After leaving the Royal Navy, she returned home to Bristol where she worked as a Wedding Co-ordinator in a Georgian Mansion House and then as a Legal Secretary for a local Solicitor.
Kate joined the Practice 10 years ago. She is Personal Assistant to Peter Root and also Practice Manager.
Kate undertakes various jobs within the Practice, ranging from the running of Peter’s diary, transcribing dictation, filing accounts and tax returns online with Companies House and HMRC and the running of payrolls for over one hundred clients.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking her Jack Russell, Fidget and spending time with family and friends.
